I was walking down the street the other day, and I was thinking about how I believe that I was born for something special. That I’m here on this planet for a reason, and that I should do something big with my life. You Are Meant For Something REALLY BIG AND SPECIAL – קואצ’ר לחיים בתל אביב.
In addition, I was looking around at all the surrounding pedestrians, and I was thinking, “Do they think that they should do something special and big with their lives too?” “Do all of these people around me believe that they are destined for something big?”
Of course they do.
Moreover, I understood that this means you. This means that you, the person reading this article right now, believe that you are destined for something big in life… and you are 100% right!
However, if you don’t believe that you are predestined for something big and that you have something specific and special to contribute unto the planet before your die… it is because society crushed this dream. Additionally, I feel bad for you and you should feel bad for yourself.
Let’s get into it.
Experiment: Ask any five-year-old or six-year-old if they have a big career goal/dream. Ask them, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
You will find that the children you ask have a huge dream of being a singer, or the president, or a doctor, or a firefighter, or any number of lofty professions. This is because every child has big dreams.
However, as children we went to school. Upon going to school, we sat down in chairs and were virtually all told “Don’t move for the next “x” amount of hours”. In addition, were told not to speak, and that we must raise our hand before we want to express ourselves.
Unfortunately, just these two things mentioned above would start to shrink away at a child’s creativity. It’s a very difficult educational process that a young person has to go through, and then the pressures of school start to hit.
The “pressures of school” meaning, that other kids make fun of each other and pick on each other… all the time. Children, young adolescence, and teenagers can be cruel. Compound this for 12 years of public education and see what you get.
If you looked back at your youth, what did it look like? Were you encouraged to dream big?
If you were never encouraged to dream big by your parents, your teachers, or if your environment was anything similar to mine was growing up… then it makes sense that you would have forgotten that childhood dream. In addition and even worse, you have probably also forgotten about the visions of the greatness you could achieve in your life.
If you don’t believe that you meant for, and capable of achieving big things with your life, it is only because you have buried this belief. Sadly, you have put it into a secret place.
However, both you and I know that during the late night conversations that you have with yourself, when no one is around, we both know there is a little voice inside you. Don’t worry, I won’t tell anybody, but we both know what that little voice is saying.
There is a little voice inside of you screaming and dreaming. It is telling you that you could, and should chase your dreams and I have to tell you something… that little voice inside of you is 100% right.
I believe think that should do something big and massive with your life. I think that you were born for a purpose.
Why did you come into this world, and what were the odds it would happen? You began your existence as a member of a race against millions of other sperm cells… and you won.
Clearly, there is a reason you are alive, and you need to take the time to find out what exactly that reason is.
Your Personal Challenge:
Look inward to discover your unique gifts, and follow your personal positive passions. Doing both of these things wholeheartedly will lead you to discover your purpose in life.

About the Creator of: You Are Meant For Something REALLY BIG AND SPECIAL – קואצ’ר לחיים בתל אביב
My name is Claude Lee Massey, I’ve been living in Tel Aviv for 10+ years… and what an adventure it has been! I remember the day I arrived in Israel, I had NO money – NO friends – and NO job. So, how exactly did I become a life coach and career counselor in Tel Aviv, Israel?
Here is my story…
About five years ago (after 15+ years of soul-searching), I had a realization: That I was put here on this planet to teach and to share the knowledge I have. Along with that powerful revelation, I had a powerful insight: “I want to open my own consulting business”.
As the start-up capital of the world, Israel has plenty of new companies with growing English speaking sales teams. Therefore, with my 15+ years of experience in the field of sales, I decided to open a sales training/consulting company.
I never thought that I would open my own business in Israel…but I did!
At once, I went to an accountant to file the proper paperwork to legally operate my NEW sales consulting company. Afterwards, I began to use all of my spare time (at this point I had a full-time job for a high-tech company) after work and before work creating materials and trying to acquire clients.
Most importantly, I knew what I had to do and whom I wanted to target.
I started cold calling companies in Tel Aviv, Herzliya, Ramat Gan, Jerusalem, Bat Yam, and Holon. Moreover, I was working like a madman. I was sending emails and doing everything in my power to try to generate momentum in my business.
It was, and is brutal being an entrepreneur, but great news! I was able to find my first few clients!
Something I immediately noticed, was at the conclusion of my sales training workshops (where I focused on selling through telling stories, and teaching specific sales techniques), two things would happen consistently happen:
Firstly, I would receive feedback that the sales training workshop provided massive value. Secondly, one or two of the students in the course would privately approach me.
They would speak with me about their struggles, not only in sales but also in life.
Then one time, a female student offered to pay me for a one-on-one sit down session outside of the office. She asked me to help her figure out a better career path. As a struggling entrepreneur, I accepted.
Another student, at another company, approached me and offered to pay me for my time to help prepare him for a job interview. Yes, he was planning to leave the sales job that he was at.
Similarly, another student from another workshop, at another company me to help them work with their confidence and being able to communicate efficiently. This would happen again, and again…
Each person with his or her own challenge. They knew I was not certified or professionally trained. Still, they would approach me and offer to pay me for my time.
To sit with them and help figure things out, and to give them my guidance. These first clients called me their “Life Coach” or “Career Counselor“.
Moreover, I was able to help them! At the conclusion of our 3 to 5 one-on-one sessions, they each had taken took massive steps forward towards the results they wanted.
Eventually, enough people paid me to sit down with them, and called me their Career Counselor or Life Coach… that I began to call myself a “Career Counselor” and ”Life Coach”.
Most people set out to become a trained and certified life coach or career counselor before ever having a client. However, I never said I wanted to be a life coach or a career counselor…
This interesting and fulfilling profession came to me, literally.
And that is the super-short story of how I began life coaching and career counseling in Tel Aviv Israel. Now 5 years later, I can say that I’m happy to say I have helped hundreds of people just like you.
