Imagine this. Every day you receive one full cup of energy. No matter what you do, you only get one cup of energy. Each day your cup refills, no matter how you spent your one cup of energy the day before. So let’s get it it: Clarity and Happiness – קואצ’ר תל אביב
Many people waste their one cup of energy on negative actions, or more commonly… negative thoughts. For example, “what should I…” or “I hate my job…” or “I should do this but…” or “I wish that…” or “I don’t have…” thoughts.
Here is a question: What if you wasted 15-20-30% of your daily, one cup of energy on negative and dissatisfied self-loathing inner-dialogues… everyday?
Could it be that you are wasting a massive percentage of your one cup of daily energy, because you spend way too much time focused on your dissatisfaction?
If you have not put forth the energy to create clarity on how to resolve these questions and these inner-frustrations, then very likely you will be on the treadmill. You will be the treadmill of repeatedly wasting part of your one cup of daily energy, on frustrations and negativity.
In my opinion, dissatisfaction typically stems from a lack of clarity. Meaning, we don’t understand how to resolve our confused feelings of dissatisfaction, unhappiness, and anxiety.
My suggestion is to spend a portion of your daily cup of energy figuring out solutions to the “problems” mentioned above. At least when you know about, and are aware of the solutions, you can start to enjoy a smaller version of clarity.
Moreover, you don’t have to act on the solutions upon their discovery. If you simply know and are aware of the solutions, then you will start to experience increased clarity. Most importantly to our goal, having this clarity will slightly increase the amount of happiness in your life.
Setting and having goals (both internal and external) are good. Having spiritual goals, financial goals, goals for your relationships, and career goals can be a good thing. Some might say the more goals the better.
Pursuing your goals is going to give you a focused feeling, and therefore more clarity. When you begin to accomplish the tasks required in order to resolve and achieve the changes you desire and achieve your goals, the amount of clarity you have will continue to increase.
The increased clarity you have in your life, the more you increase your probability of tasting this perpetually fleeting human emotion known as happiness.
Your Personal Challenge:
Remember that having more clarity leads to more happiness… but neither are permanent states of existence. Dare to enjoy the highs and the lows of your life. Try to enjoy the entire roller-coaster ride.
